My name is Sandy Bell and my background is in textiles, mainly patchwork and quilting, which has been my passion for many years until mosaics found me! Since then I have been totally inspired by the intricate process of cutting and laying tesserae. I am especially interesred in 3D forms, and love using stained glass and mosaic tiles to unfold all the contours with a rich jewelled effect.
